Managing Observers: A Guide for Election Workers


Description

Public observation is an important part of administering elections. To have confidence in election administration, the public must have a strong idea of how elections are administered and what safeguards are in place to protect the integrity of our elections.


By the end of this course learners should be able to:

  • Understand and explain the role that observers play in the election process.
  • Understand the boundaries of good faith observation and be able to recognize when boundaries are crossed.
  • Apply the skills for successfully and professionally performing your job duties while being observed.

This course should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
