This course provides a deep dive into ballot organization, emphasizing the importance of spatial organization in managing ballots. You will learn to apply the 5S methodology—Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain—to organize ballots effectively from pre-election staging, during central count, and through post-election retention. This approach ensures that ballots are easily accessible, properly labeled, and securely stored, minimizing errors and enhancing the overall efficiency of the election process.
By the end of this course, you will be equipped with the tools and knowledge to implement a systematic approach to ballot organization that supports accuracy, security, and transparency. We will cover practical techniques for organizing ballots, selecting appropriate storage and transport equipment, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
